An Exercise Ball for Crunches
Crunches are key to keeping your stomach fit. The most effective crunches used, is the one using an exercise ball. Your feet should be flat on the ground while sitting on the ball. Lying back on the ball, should make your torso and thighs parallel to the floor. Now cross your arms over your chest, with your tucking into the chest at the same time. Next, contract your abs while lifting your torso to a 45 degree angle. While tightening the stomach, exhale. To keep yourself steady, spread the legs apart, but if you want to work your sides, keep your legs together. Inhale, when you loosen your stomach.
Reverse Crunches
This exercise is done by getting on your back and lengthening the span of your arms away from the ground. Cross your ankles and raise them upwards, until your knees are at a ninety degree angle. Bicep Curls
Step on the resistance band, keeping your feet no wider than the hips, and keep a good grip on the handles. With your arms at your sides, point your palms outward. Your second position should be holding the handles up to your shoulder front for two seconds, then go back to your first position. You can do up to 15 reps of this for an adequate exercise.
To do the Chest Press
With the band around your back and under your arms, have a firm grip on the handles. Put one of your feet somewhat forward, with the knees bent a little. Keeping your arms bent ninety degrees, at shoulder height, level your wrists with your elbow. Push your arms forward (and inwards slightly) so that they are apart at shoulder width and are directly straight in front of you. Now return to the original position. Fifteen Repetitions will give you a good exercises.
Squat Press
Holding the handles, stand on the band and bring them no further than shoulder level. Don’t spread your feet wider than your hips. Drop down into a squat by bending your middle with your back straight. When you get to the squat position, lengthen your arms upward. Your arms can lower at the same time that your standing up. Repeat this exercise fifteen times.
To Do Side Leg Lifts
Take hold of the handles with each hand and stand on the resistance band with both feet. Make sure your feet are hip-width distance from each other. Next, put all your weight on one leg while lifting the other as high as you can to the side. Pulling the band upward and outward should be done at the same time. Now, stand in a relaxed position. This is one rep that should be done 15 times on each leg.
