Therefore, it’s very important indeed, to work on the stress causing factors at your workplace to attenuate any risks to your overall wellbeing. Bad resource allocation for example, is a primary cause of stress. To deal with the issue, you need to maintain a balanced daily program as agreed by your day to day tasks. Find a workplace and family life equilibrium which will allow you to complete your jobs amicably while leaving you sufficient time for relaxation or other social activities. Don’t try to do too much in a single day and plan regular breathers to sit back and relax in. Also, arrive for work at least 10-15 early every day to allow yourself time to settle down into work.
Another important factor behind workplace stress is the poor scheduling of tasks. Ideally, you need to make a list of the tasks at hand and schedule them according to priority. If the project is to large, divide it up into chunks and work on each of them step-by-step. Further, start delegating responsibilities to subordinates and ask them to take control of the assigned work.
In the stressful work conditions, having a positive attitude to work and your life goes a good way in handling work stress. If a person is able to get rid of the negative thoughts, he will simply concentrate on his work and other aspects of the life. Another critical thing is to switch your behaviour and control your feelings relying on the environment.
